We moved to a larger House with fenced in Yard.

Easter weekend we moved to a new to us house that has a fenced back yard with a swing set and slide. The girls love it! I am sure the boys will also! Some friends kept the girls all day Friday while we did the bulk of the moving! That was such a blessing. We finished the cleaning of the apartment last night so now it is just down to organizing our new home!

DTC Finally!!!

Our dossier was sent by DHL to China today!!!!!

On top of that we received updated measurements for our boys!

Katy and Marc are 41 inches tall and both weight 42 pounds. Katy is 5 months younger than Marc and Marc is 9 months younger than Max. Max is 45 inches tall and 54 pounds.

Am I addicted to Adoption?!?

This was written by a fellow adoptive mother and it states my feeling so well that I asked her permission to post it here.

I'm Charlotte and I'm addicted to adoption....and PROUD OF IT! :)
Is it about addiction? Nope.

It's about being a mom and seeing kids that
need a mom. How can I ignore their cry??

Am I addicted to adoption? Yes and PROUDLY so!

Am I addicted to the paper chase? Oh heck no! I mean there are a few
joys, when you complete one task and can move to the next but
addiction worthy? I think not!

Am I addicted to the wait? Oh double heck no! lol I find no joy in
waiting for what I want, regardless of what it or they are. :)

Am I addicted in the attention received from adopting? Are you
kidding me? For the most part, I only experienced non-friendly
attention for adopting. Definitely not that.

So what causes the addiction? I'm a mom and I can not look past a
child needing me without the urge of rushing to their aide, scooping
them in my arms and saying 'I'm your mother now, you are no longer
alone in this world!' I walk the floor endless hours of the night
with my children, endure toddler fits and angry outbursts. Teach
manners and words, help with homework, play nurse when they are sick,
rejoice and dance with them when they learn a new task, cry with joy
upon seeing love for their family in their eyes and hearing a child's
voice tell me they love me. I proudly display the grade K paper from
my youngest son, proclaiming to his whole class, 'I love my mommy
because she hugs me'. I have days where the first words I hear
are 'You ruined my life!' because I insisted on lunch being ate
before playing in the snow and end the same night with the same child
signing to himself how he has the 'prettiest mommy in the world'.

So, is all this addiction worthy? In my books yes. And I don't want
any recovery! :)

Care Packages!

is sending a care package to the boys for us!

We attached a letter to the director and a letter to be read to the boys.  We included candy for them to share with the Nannies and other children at their SWI.  We are hoping and praying that it is actually given to them right away and they don't wait until we actually come to get them.

I-171H is here!!!!!!!

Our I-171H finally came Wednesday night with approval for two!  Today we took it to Olympia and had it authenticated and then by FedEx to Washington DC where it will arrive tomorrow.  On Monday the courier "The Assistant Stork" will take it to the State Department to get there seal and then to the Chinese Embassy.  They pick it up Tuesday and it is FedEx to our Agency arriving Wednesday AM!

Our Dossier will be off to China next week!!!
