We had an awesome weekend!

Dave and I went to a leadership conference this weekend. It was really nice to get away without any children. My sister flew in to stay with the girls at our home and we rented a car to take out of town.

Saturday our oldest daughter took her aunt and two little sisters up to see the tulip festival. It was a great plan but she took our jeep that was having some difficulty, long story short it broke down and we ended up getting it towed back home. It was quite the experience long distance. Our older son is letting us borrow his 87 suburban while we figure out another vehicle. One more not so little expense to add in to our life right now but I know it will work our some way!

Kaitlyn never ceases to amaze me!

We were riding in the car to church and Kaitlyn pipes up "Marc and Max are crying in China!"  I said "Kaitlyn why do you think they are crying?"  Here response was "because they miss you and me Mommy!"  "Are we going to get them today?"
