When God calls you must be willing to say "Here I am send me!"
Sometimes it takes a leap of faith accepting that He will provide!
You never know the blessings you may receive!

"AND WHOEVER WELCOMES A LITTLE CHILD LIKE THIS,

IN MY NAME, WELCOMES ME." Matthew 18:5

ADOPTING A CHILD WON'T CHANGE THE WORLD,
BUT FOR THAT CHILD, THE WORLD WILL CHANGE.

Day 8 - July 21 Continued

Looking down the Russian Street back at the City of Dalian! Quite a contrast in skyline. We ended up walking 4 miles, I am sure that is probably the farthest these boys have walked at one time in their life.

A functioning telephone booth!

We are hosting an exchange student from Shanghai for this next school year so when she found out we were in Dalian, asked if they could come and meet me and the boys. Charlotte and her father arrived in time for dinner and took us to the hotel restaurant and had a traditional chinese dinner. The food was good, the boys sure enjoyed themselves.

After dinner we walked around and in the center of the plaza across the street were some kid activities and Charlotte's Dad had them ride on the paddle boats and then drive a motorcycle and car. The boys loved that but when it was time to quit had complete meltdowns!!! Both of them were wailing. We had to walk back to the hotel with Marc and Max both crying hard! I gave them both a bath to cool off and they went right to bed.

So cool! I didn't know Russia ever occupied part of China. Anxious to hear how the exchange student goes so cool you got to meet before hand. One of these days we'll have a house with room to do that. I wish it was now.

I have really enjoyed following your journey. How exciting that you get to meet your exchange student in China! We host exchange students also. It is so much fun! Your sons are adorable and that is so neat that they have someone to talk to who can translate to you.
